Effective December 1, 2024, RC Technologies will be shutting down its email service (XXXXXXXXX@tnics.com). If you currently have a tnics email address (yourname@tnics.com), you will need to transition to another email provider. We will provide you information and assist you to make the transition as easy as possible.
Why are we discontinuing the tnics.com email? Fewer and fewer customers have been using RC email service in recent years, yet the service requires a considerable amount of time, money, and a lot of expense in maintenance and utilize more of these resources toward our priority, Internet and Wi-Fi.
If you already have another email address, you’ll may want to start using that one as your primary email. If you don’t and your Tnics email is your primary email address, you’ll need to transition to a new email service provider such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc., before the end of 2024. These top email providers are free, have robust security filters, and provide an abundant amount of storage space as well as a wide variety of handy tools. If you own a cell phone you could already have a Gmail or iCloud account. You may want to verify this first before creating a new email.
To help make the transition from Tnics email to a new email provider as easy as possible for you, we have soon have step-by-step guides available. We also have had tech classes on email that includes guidance on how to create a new email account with a brief overview of their user-friendly interface. Future tech classes dates will be announced in The Communicator newsletter, our Facebook page, and our website. We encourage you to talk with family and friends about which email providers they’re using so they too can offer help. Below are some links to help you get started.
Once you have your new email, you will need to notify your tnics email contacts of your new email address. You may want to give that information to your healthcare providers, financial institutions, etc. directly if you have an upcoming appointment with them. You need to be aware that RC Technologies does not have any access to the new email. Make sure you have a strong password that is safe and secure as we will not be able to reset these email passwords for you.
